Like many others, consistency was one of my biggest challenges when I began my fitness journey. I didn’t have the knowledge to effectively achieve results and consequently, my motivation suffered. Working with Jamal completely changed that. He gave form corrections and broke down how exactly a corrected form would impact muscle growth; he helped me better understand how exactly my diet contributed to my fitness goals; and most importantly, he made it a fun process. Jamal was my first personal trainer! I was always skeptical to spend money on one until Jamal! I saw Jamal personal transformation when it came to fitness right before my eyes as we knew each other in college. I decided to give Jamal a shot. I was blown away by the knowledge he gained from his own experience and understood everyone’s body reacts differently to workouts and diets. Jamal drove 45 minutes to actually train me during our workouts that alone shows you his dedication to his clients. I’m a pretty JC under guy but when I first started going to the gym I was self conscious some days depending on the workout but with Jamals guidance and his personal stories I was able to get over my self conscious and I continue to workout and implement what he taught me.
